1. Notebook Style

Each binding method has individual qualities that can complement an array of uses, depending on your brands needs. Choose from our large variety of notebook styles.

Saddle Stitched

A simple but effective way of binding using metal staples, we can bind either card or faux leather.

Hardcover

The classic style of notebook, with a hard case that protects the edges of the notebook.

Softbound

Softbound books can come in either faux or real leather, they can have a clean cut edge or a slight lip.

Semi Flex

Semi Flex notebooks have a thin board cover; resulting in a firm yet flexible style of notebook.

Singer Sewn

A simple Cahier or exercise book, with exposed thread along the spine. Multiple colours of thread are avaliable.

Volant

A slim notebook with a false cover, comprising a sheet of material that tightly encloses the sewn pages inside.

Half-Bound

A half-bound book separates the spine from the cover with a contrasting material.

Ring-Bound

Spiral and ring-bound books are ideal for sketching and note taking an allow for the removal of pages.

Wrap-Around

If you’re looking for a traditional Italian style, a luxurious wrap-around journal is for you.

French Groove

A French Groove has a visible space or joint at the spine, giving an authentic and traditional look.

2. Material Type

Utilising different materials can completely change the style and feel of a book. We offer the ability to experiment with colour and texture across the various ranges.

Leather

We supply the softest and supplest leathers sourced directly from Italian tanneries.

Faux Leather

Designed to look and feel like leather. Often finished with a soft touch and available in different grains.

Bonded Leather

Made from reconstituted bits of leather to make a more hard-wearing material than regular leather.

Vegan Leather

Favoured by Moleskine, this material has a light grain to imitate a smooth leather surface.

Card

We have card in different weights, textures and colours and  frequently use GF Smith Colorplan.

Cloth

Cloth is available in lots of different colours and feels – some luxurious and some more hard-wearing.

Silk Touch

This materials has a light grain to imitate a smooth leather surface and a silky feel akin to faux leather.

Digital Print

Using Indigo printing to achieve a near perfect colour match on thick stock paper, before laminating to lock in colours.

3. Internal Pages

As well as having a range of custom printed options we offer stock ivory and white papers in a variety of GSM’s. All papers are acid free and FSC rated. We are happy to source different stock if required such as specialist munken or transparent papers.

Full Colour Printing

Full colour printing with cyan, magenta, yellow and black to give depth to your pages.

Single Colour

Choose a Pantone consistent with your brand to print throughout your notebook.

Two Colour

Choose from a duo of colours consistent with your brand to print throughout your notebook.

Stock

We offer Ivory & White papers in different weights and numerous templates including dot, grid and line papers.

Diary Printing

Choose from a range of diary page layouts, from weekly to daily, with creative or executive extras.

Lining Pages

Make an impression as soon as the book opens with a design printed at the beginning and end of your notebook.

Library Images

Make an impression as soon as the book opens with full colour images at the beginning and end of your notebook.

4. Cover Customisations

The outside of your book is of course the first thing your customer will see. Make sure your book looks its best with the following options for exterior customisations.

Foiling

Similar to Debossing, although a coloured film is used, leaving a coloured impression.

Debossing

Your logo is milled onto a brass die, heated and impressed into the cover of your notebook.

UV Printing

Using the latest print methods, UV printing lets you print full colour images on to any cover material.

Screen Printing

If you are looking for bold block colours on a larger run of books, screen printing may be the option for you.

Digital Printed Cover

Full colour printing with cyan, magenta, yellow and black to give depth to your pages.

Monogramming

Using Indigo printing, the paper is then laminated to provide strength and to lock in the colours.

5. Small Touches

Aside from the obvious colour, material and logo choices for the outside of your books you can also add additional items to improve functionality, or to give your items the perfect finishing touches.

Pen Loops

A great addition to executive notebooks, allowing you to easily attach pens or pencils to your notebook.

Perimeter Stitching

A decorative stitch around the edges of your notebook to add a traditional feel to your notebook.

As well as having a vast range of ribbon and elastic colours and finishes we can Pantone match any colour.
